Recipes From Pakistan
Pakistani cuisine combines influences from Central Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia. Meat
comprises the main part of Pakistani meals, with dishes made with beef, lamb, and chicken,
but not pork, as Pakistan is mostly Muslim. Staple foods include wheat and rice, and lentils and
chickpeas are favorites. Legumes are usually included in at least one daily meal, often in a thick sauce. Potatoes
and onions are staple vegetables, and other vegetables and fruits are often made into condiments, sauces, and
pickles. Pakistanis enjoy their dishes highly spiced.
Chicken Jalfarezi

This is a popular Pakistani dish and it is a quick and tasty way to use leftover
roast chicken. It can also be made with lamb or beef instead of chicken.
