a Charity and Receive a Gift
Kitchens of the World was created by the
Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB) as
a means for non-profit organizations that
support persons with disabilities to raise
funds. The CCB was founded in 1944 by
blind war veterans and schools of the blind, and today the organization deals with the ongoing effects of
blindness through programs that encourage active participation in communities, education, sports and
recreation, and employment.
