The 2026 Canadian Vision Impaired Curling Championship (CVICC)

The 2026 Canadian Vision Impaired Curling Championship (CVICC) took place at the Granite Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta, marking the first time the event has been hosted west of Ontario. Eight teams from across Canada competed, showcasing the skill, dedication, and sportsmanship of vision-impaired curlers nationwide.

Daily Round Robin Results and Standings

Day 1 - February 2nd

The championship kicked off in Edmonton with teams arriving full of energy after a warm welcome the night before. Day one delivered tight matchups and strong starts as the competition officially got underway.

Day 2 - February 3rd

The standings began to take shape as teams battled hard to position themselves in the round robin. The race for the top spot intensified with impressive scoring runs and comeback efforts.

Day 3 - February 4th

With five draws complete, teams pushed hard as the round robin approached its conclusion. Off the ice, curlers enjoyed dinner, trivia, and camaraderie before the final preliminary matchups.

Day 4 - February 5th

The final round robin draws determined who advanced, capping off a week of outstanding curling and sportsmanship. With playoffs ahead, every shot mattered and teams delivered under pressure.

Day 5 - February 6th

Final day action brought the intensity as playoff games determined medalists and crowned the new champions. The week concluded with thrilling finishes and well-earned podium moments.

After an exciting week of competition, teams and guests headed home following a memorable championship filled with great curling, sportsmanship, and community spirit. Congratulations went out to all medalists, and heartfelt thanks went to organizers, volunteers, and hosts for making the event a success!
